Zoho CRM email verification
Create a free accountPlans and credits
Installing and configuring the extension requires Zoho CRM administrator permissions.
What it does
The extension verifies the email of Leads and Contacts in Zoho CRM, one record at a time, in bulk from the list view, or automatically in a workflow, and saves the result in fields of the record. Each verification uses one credit. Only the email address is sent for verification; no other CRM data leaves Zoho.
Step 1: get an API key
- You need an Easy Email Verification account. If you don't have one, create it at https://dashboard.easyemailverification.com/register?utm_source=zoho_guide (the free plan includes 50 verifications a day).
- For more volume, you can buy credits in the dashboard under Buy → Verification: a monthly subscription (daily quota) or pay-as-you-go credits that do not expire, paid by card through Stripe.
- In the dashboard, open Integration → API Settings and click Create API Key (for example named
zoho). - Keep the key for Step 3. Treat it like a password: never share it or paste it into emails, chats or public pages.
Step 2: install the extension
- Open https://marketplace.zoho.com and search for Easy Email Verification.
- Click Install and choose the Zoho CRM organization.
- Follow the installation wizard.
Step 3: configure the API key
- In Zoho CRM, open Setup → Marketplace → Installed Extensions → Easy Email Verification → Settings.
- Paste the API key from Step 1 and save.
- Optional check: in Setup → Customization → Modules and Fields, the Leads and Contacts modules now have the EEV fields (EEV Result, EEV Reason, EEV Safe_to_send and the others below).
Step 4: verify emails
- One record: open a Lead or Contact and click Verify with EEV. The fields are filled in right away.
- In bulk: in the Leads or Contacts list view, select records and click Validate Emails (EEV Bulk). For very large lists, validate up to 1,000 records at a time.
- Automatically: an admin can enable validation in a workflow when a lead or contact is created or its email changes.
Fields created on Leads and Contacts

| EEV Reason | why the address got that result |

| EEV Accept_all | catch-all domain: the mailbox cannot be confirmed |
| EEV Role | role address such as info@, sales@, support@ |
| EEV Free | free provider such as Gmail or Yahoo |
| EEV Did_you_mean | suggested fix for a typo (gamil.com → gmail.com) |
| EEV User, EEV Domain | parts of the address |

If something isn't working
- Buttons do not appear: check that the extension is installed for the right organization and that the user has access to it.
- Verification errors: check the API key in the extension settings (a widget key does not work; it must be an API key from API Settings).
- "Running out of your credit limit": buy credits in the dashboard (Buy → Verification) or see https://www.easyemailverification.com/en-US/pricing
