Bulk email verification: clean your list before every campaign

Upload your email list, and Easy Email Verification checks every address without sending a message. You get back a file that tells you which contacts to keep, which to remove and which to handle with care, so your campaign reaches real inboxes.

50 free verifications a day. No credit card required.

Why verify your list before sending

Fewer bounces

Addresses that no longer exist bounce. A high bounce rate tells mailbox providers your list is not maintained, and your next campaigns land in spam more often.

A protected sender reputation

Email platforms such as Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or HubSpot watch bounce rates and can limit or suspend accounts that send to bad lists. Cleaning first keeps you on the safe side.

Honest numbers

Opens and clicks are measured against what you send. Removing dead addresses makes your reports reflect your real audience, and you stop paying your email platform for contacts that cannot be reached.

How it works

1

Export your list

Export the contacts from your email platform or CRM and keep only the email column: a CSV or TXT file with one address per line, up to 16 MB.

2

Upload it

In the dashboard, open Email Verification → List Verification, drop the file and click Process. You see how many addresses it has and how many credits it needs before it starts.

3

Download the results

When the list is processed, download the results as CSV from Processed Files. Every address comes back with a result, a reason and risk signals.

4

Import the clean list

Remove or tag the addresses you do not want to email, and import the list back into your email platform before the campaign.

What to do with each result

Each address gets one of three results. Unknown is not invalid: it means the receiving server did not give a reliable answer.

ResultWhat it meansWhat to do before the campaign
validThe mail server accepted the address.Send. Check the risk signals below for catch-all and disposable addresses.
invalidThe address or its domain does not exist, or the server rejected it.Remove it. These are the addresses that bounce.
unknownThe server could not be reached, timed out or blocked the check.Keep them in a separate segment. Verify them again later, or send to them in a smaller, separate send.

Risk signals worth a look

  • Catch-all (AcceptAll): The domain accepts every address, so no verification can confirm the individual mailbox. Send to them in a separate segment and watch the bounces.
  • Disposable: A temporary inbox. These contacts rarely engage; most marketers remove them.
  • Role (info@, sales@…): A shared address. Fine for B2B announcements, often a poor fit for newsletters.
  • DidYouMean: A likely typo with its correction (john@gmial.com → john@gmail.com). Fix the address instead of deleting the contact.

A simple rule: send to addresses with IsSafeToSend true, remove invalid, and set your own policy for unknown and catch-all.

Bulk email verification FAQ

Does verification send an email to my contacts?

No. Easy Email Verification talks to the receiving mail server and stops before any message is sent. Your contacts are not contacted.

Can I upload a list exported from Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign or HubSpot?

Yes. Export the contacts as CSV and keep only the email column, one address per line. After verification, import the results back and remove or tag the addresses you do not want to email.

Do I pay for invalid addresses?

Each address in the file uses one credit, whatever the result: finding the invalid ones is what the verification is for.

Should I delete unknown addresses?

Not automatically. Unknown means the server did not answer reliably, often a temporary block or timeout. Verify them again later, or send to them separately from your clean list.

How long do you keep my list?

The result file is kept for 30 days so you can download it, and is then deleted. See our privacy policy.

How often should I clean my list?

Before any large campaign, and whenever you import contacts from an event, a purchased source or an old database. Addresses stop working over time as people change jobs and providers.
