What a "valid" email verification result means

valid

The receiving mail server confirmed that the mailbox exists and accepts mail.

What it means

Easy Email Verification checked the syntax and the domain, found the mail server in the domain's MX record and asked that server, over SMTP, whether it accepts mail for this mailbox. The server said yes. No email was sent to the person.

Valid always comes with the reason accepted_email. It is the strongest answer a verification can give, but it is not a guarantee of engagement: the person may never open your emails, and a server can start rejecting the address later if the mailbox is closed.
