Free email provider addresses (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo): what free: true means
A free email provider address belongs to a public mailbox service, such as Gmail, Outlook or Yahoo, rather than to a company or organization domain.
Free addresses are perfectly valid and are most of the addresses in consumer lists. In B2B, though, a free address on a "work email" field can mean the person did not want to give a company address, or is not the company contact you are looking for.
It is a signal for segmentation, not a reason to delete: a freelancer or a small business owner may well use a Gmail address for work.
With Easy Email Verification
Easy Email Verification returns free: true for addresses at popular free providers. It is a signal on its own: deliverability is in result and safe_to_send. Use it to route leads or to ask for a work address on B2B forms.
