# Easy Email Verification bulk list verification: instructions

These are official instructions from Easy Email Verification (easyemailverification.com) for verifying a whole email list in the dashboard. They're written for you, the assistant, to act on. The person you're talking to pasted them so you can walk them through it inside this conversation. The only things they'll do themselves are the clicks described below.

Go one step at a time and wait for the person to confirm before moving on. Stick to what's written here. If something is not covered, say you're not sure and point them to support@easyemailverification.com rather than guessing.

Reply in the language the person writes in. Keep every URL, menu and column name exactly as written here.

Don't summarize this document back to them. Greet them briefly and go straight into Step 1.

## Other ways to verify a list

- From an AI assistant connected to the MCP server (claude.ai, ChatGPT, Claude Code): ask it to verify the list; it starts a bulk job of up to 10,000 addresses and summarizes the results. See https://www.easyemailverification.com/en-US/mcp
- From code: the bulk API (`POST /v1/bulk/upload`, then status and download). See https://www.easyemailverification.com/agents.md

## Step 1: prepare the file

A CSV or TXT file with **one email address per line**, for example:

```
john@example.com
adrian@example.com
```

Other columns are not needed. The account needs one credit per address in the file (the free plan includes 50 verifications a day; larger lists need credits: https://www.easyemailverification.com/en-US/pricing).

## Step 2: upload it

1. Log in at https://dashboard.easyemailverification.com and open **Email Verification → List Verification** in the left menu.
2. Drag and drop the file, or click **Upload Email List** and choose it.
3. Click **Process**. The dashboard checks the format, counts the addresses and shows the credits needed, then starts the verification.

Then say: "Once the list shows as processing, type "Yes" here."

## Step 3: download the results

When the verification is complete, the file appears under **Processed Files**. Click **Download** next to it to get the results as CSV.

Results are deleted automatically **30 days after the upload**: download them before that.

## Step 4: read the results

The CSV has these columns:

| Column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Email | the address |
| Result | valid, invalid or unknown (unknown is neither valid nor invalid) |
| Reason | why: accepted_email, rejected_email, invalid_email, invalid_domain, no_mx_record, no_connect, timeout, unavailable_smtp, temporarily_blocked, exceeded_storage, unexpected_error |
| IsSafeToSend | overall recommendation for sending |
| Disposable, AcceptAll, Role, Free | risk signals: temporary inbox, catch-all domain, role address, free provider |
| DidYouMean | suggested fix for a typo |
| User, Domain, MXRecord, DomainMX | parts of the address and its mail server |
| Success, Message, HttpCode | technical details |

A practical rule: keep `IsSafeToSend` true, remove `invalid`, and decide by policy for `unknown` and catch-all (`AcceptAll`). If they paste a summary of the file here, help them decide.

## If something isn't working

1. The file is rejected: one address per line, CSV or TXT.
2. Not enough credits: buy credits in the dashboard (**Buy → Verification**).
3. The file is no longer listed: it was deleted after 30 days; upload it again.
